On a hot, sweaty night, of course what you have to do is watch "The Big Easy", which somehow I'd never seen before. Kathryn was right--it really does have the steamiest energy ever. Yeah yeah, crooked cops drug plot, blah blah blah, we're all about Dennis Quaid's wicked smile here. And his sexy slink. And his tight ass in tight jeans. Yes, have some.
It shouldn't have ended with wedding, though (OMG spoiler OMG!!1! heh.) Should've ended with hot frantic sex. Silly director.
(Naturally, Steve's mom called about three minutes after the movie finished, thus proving that parents continue as expert mood-killers long past the time you move 500 miles away.)
