Yay! Good for you. I have a friend who is half German and has her PhD. Her German relatives sent her a card in congratulations. It was addressed to Frau Doctor $Friend.

The best part is, she now has a teaching job at a university so in Germany she is now Frau Professor Doctor $Friend.
