No aikido today, because Joe's out sick (and corp is also down by one, so I can't steal someone from over there to cover me). I hate this skeleton-crew nonsense.
Tried hanging the ceiling fan/light fixture in the bedroom last night, with Brian's expert help (okay, he did most of it; I found tools and held the 50-ton thing up while he was wiring it), but as usual with DIY projects, it will require another trip to the hardware store. I am firmly resolved to get this in before spring, to give me another weapon in the "no, let's not turn the air conditioner on when it's only 75 degrees" battle.
A mildly cursed morning, in general.

As it always does. BTW, did you replace the ceiling bracket with one rated to hold the extra weight of a fan (or was there a fan-rated bracket) already installed? You don't want it falling out of the ceiling whilst the bed is occupied ...
