Ambition, again

[livejournal.com profile] auntiemisha and I are co-hosting a Mardi Gras party at Ubercon this weekend. Suddenly I'm filled with the urge to attempt making a King Cake for the event. Now, this is a yeast-based item, so that means time-consuming (and I have to pick up yeast, too). I'd have to do it tonight, because of course we'll be at the con tomorrow. But I'd promised myself a pedicure, and I have an online appointment to do some Call of Cthulhu stuff this evening, and I have to pack for both myself and the pooky, and I wanted to get some painting done... I think I can do it all, but I might be pulling my hair out by the end, and it'll certainly be late to bed.

It's moot. Nowhere on the way home had yeast, including the New York Baking Supply, if you please.

Also, my pedicure got messed up. Bah humbug.
