"oh, no, not again."

Once more with the funerals. We just got the call that Steve's mom died last night (the next-door neighbor had stopped in to check on her, and found her). Imminently to Buffalo we go. Because all life is a test and I passed the last one without going *spoing*, this time there is the added fact that we are the next-of-kin and will be the ones dealing with the legal and practical foo. Steve knows nothing of these matters and I probably know less. My kingdom for a FAQ. Yes, I'm gibbering.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. You both have my sympathy. Good luck with the legalities.

My condolences, and may all the bureaucratic stuff go smoothly.

Condolences.

Cuts a bit close to home, having lost both grandfathers in the past half-year, but was outside the inner dealing-with-legal-foo circle at least.

SWMBO, who remembers you from Usenet, offers condolences too. She did have to deal with her father's estate, but that was under .on.ca law.

My regards and condolences to Steve, too.

Hey (It's that guy from Ubercon who Misha used to work with)...

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother-in-law. Please tell Steve I'm so sorry to hear about his mother's passing. If there's anything I can do to help, please ask...

*HUGS*
