"Oh."

It seems that all the Judas Priest tour dates this summer are as part of Ozzfest. Fuckin' hell. I'm not sure I want to pay a zillion dollars to get into a show where I don't give a rat's ass about 95% of the bands. OTOH, this may be the only chance I'll ever have to hear Rob Halford sing for them. Wibble. Wibble wibble wibble.

As usual following a return from the Great White North, I am feeling whingey about how much better Buffalo's radio options are. Not only are the native stations better, but they also pull in some Ontario stuff, which is equally high-caliber if not more so. Steve was pleased to find there was a new Tragically Hip album out, which is more of a throwback to their original style, and we picked it up with a few other things that we'd been meaning to get around to.

So come see New Model Army tonight!!!! Knitting Factor, 74 Leonard Street, 8PM, $12.

You know you want to! :)

BTW, FWIW, I would bite the bullet and see Rob Halford.

I'm sending [livejournal.com profile] pir in my stead, how's that? ;) (In truth, I know nothing of New Model Army...)

And, yeah, I probably will bite the bullet. Though they're apparently having a show in Toronto that's not part of Ozzfest, so I might make a ninja raid on that if the plane fares are favorable.
