Misanthropic service announcement

Dammit, people, use lj-cut for your big honkin' graphics. Or for not-so-big ones that live on overloaded servers.

That is all.

*grr* And while we're at it...

For those freakin' huge mahonking long posts that take up more than a screen in mozilla at 1280x1024 resolution using 8pt font. There is such a thing as editting a post afterwards to put in the cut tags.

*grr*

Testify, brother!

*grr* And to add in my two cents...

Don't farking post every three minutes! I don't need my LJ friends list filled up with meaningless posts about your cat, your job, how your hair is doing today, the cold coffee, lalalalala's and all that crap, ok? Two, three, hell, four times a day is alright, but 15 times in 20 minutes is just asking to be removed from my friends list!

In fact, i'd entreat everyone to resize graphics to no larger than 640x480 if you're going to inline `em. Link to the big size from there.

Were you referring to me, perhaps? For work-safe content I've not been using cut-tags lately, but I've been including height/width tags so that the browser can do proper layout without having to fix things after it has read the first part of the image.

It wasn't directed to any particular person's address. Just a general misanthropic growl as there has been an increasing amount of over-large graphicage on my friends page over the last while.
