Point of self-aggrandizement

I have just now, for the first time, successfully frothed milk with our cappucino maker.

I AM TEH L33T!!1!oneone!

yes, all right, we've had the fucking thing for seven years

Today is a great day!

I made chilli for the first time in my life, and it came out very nice. I need to adjust the recepie a bit, but its fine otherwise.

AND i baked two loafs of bread this evening too. Not too bad for the most part, it rose, it became bread shaped. Need practice, but its not bad at all.

The biggest issue I've had with chili is with spicing it. It's easy to get a slow burn, but harder to get heat/flavor that's full in the first moment you put a spoonful in your mouth. Fresh hot peppers seem to be key for this.

I'm too lazy to froth milk. I just nuke it and then add espresso.

Did the hints work ?

They did; but in fact the biggest contributing factor was Matthew C. and his lovely wife staying over after a party, and giving me a hands-on tutorial in the morning. :)

Ah, yes. For something like this, whilst the net can give you hints, there is nothing like a hands on demonstration :)
