I just had my first doumbek lesson with [livejournal.com profile] naudia. Me likey! Me bang on drum! Me have rhythm, and can spell it! (Me shoulder hurt.)

Yay for doumbek lessons!

The male dancer that I mentioned is Tarik. I believe that he performs at a restaurant in NJ and also occasionally at the Lafayette Grill in NYC.
