Tardball Considered Harmful

I'd wondered why my usual shoulder flexibility seemed to be absent on the left side for the past several weeks (and wasn't getting any better): Dr. Nick has just diagnosed me with a mildly torn rotator cuff. No aikido for me AT ALL for a month. DOOM DOOM DOOM

I hadn't taken any badness in class; we've determined that this must be from my wild throwing efforts in our pool tardball games, where, when you're in the deep end, it requires some interesting physical gyrations to actually impute enough force to the ball so as to clock a victim properly.

Well, I suppose it's a good thing that the pool season is ending. Be careful with those limbs! You don't want them falling off!

Perhaps gutterball would be a more appropriate sport?

The current sport is some triathalon consisting of Frustrated Head-Banging Into Wall, Angry Foot-Stomping, and Hysterical Shrieking.

Ah yes, good ol' Calvinball.
