Jogging Has Been Cancelled On Account Of The Apocalypse

If it were just raining, that wouldn't be a big whoop. No. It's the 1.5" of slush mixed with about the same amount of standing/running water on all the walks, with occasional patches of ice. It seemed imprudent to attempt. Instead, I shoveled said muck off the driveway. It's not the right kind of exercise for what I'm doing, really, but it's better than nothing.

I really hope the basement doesn't flood from this. Probabilities are iffy. OTOH, all previous floods were before the gutters were fixed and I don't know if that signifies.

Down two pounds, putting me right back at the starting point. Swell. And me and my thunder thighs done busted an inseam.

Yeah--I have feetcicles where I used to have feet.. just from walking down the driveway to get into my cousin's truck, out to go to the endodontist, and back again. :-/

We had the slush-and-water up here on Wednesday, too. No ice, at least not by the time I went out, but I did encounter that Boston institution, the car that drives through a big puddle and sprays you with icy water. (I'm sure they have them elsewhere, but I didn't notice them until I moved here.)
