"Let me know when we hit 20. I'm going to throw up."

Remember what I said about Monday classes being sort of low-key and mellow? Scratch that. I came very close to a) passing out, b) falling over in dizziness, c) throwing up, d) all of the above during class today. (ANSWER KEY: the correct answer is (d).) Part of it may have been the rising temperatures (though it's not all _that_ warm today), part may have been dehydration, but part was a very energetic class, aided and abetted by being dumped on my keister an awful lot--for the second half of class we were working on one particular throw that ends by, yes, picking up uke (non-aikido-people: that's what you call the bottom) and just dropping him. This is a whole _different_ kind of falling that I haven't learned yet...and I have sufficient mass to make a round *thump*, oh yes.

For some reason, being dumped on my ass was making my head ache. I guess it was rattling my brain inside the skull or somewhat. Still got a bit of an ow up there, and still an apoplectic red in the face.

I hope I can get into better shape by summer, or I'm like to kill myself trying to keep up.

It was still fun, though. I mean, in between the options on the multiple-choice up above.

Heh. Amusingly, that also works in yaoi slang.

Heh. I understand the literal definition is the "receiver" of the maneuver, so I guess that _would_ follow, wouldn't it?
