Time passes, progress is made
In spite of distraction last night (ooh! a book I've only read 658 times!), I've finished the dark wool gamurra except for lacing eyelets and hem. The bodice of the minty silk wool gamurra has about ten minutes left of hand-stitching; then I have to make the skirt placket & reinforce it, reinforce the waist of the skirt, pleat it, attach it to the bodice...and make the lacing eyelets and hem it. And, I promised to make a shirt for Dave.
This isn't adding up to a pretty picture.

5tonsflax brought back some astounding tea from Barcelona, which he is kindly letting me dip into. No idea what it is or what's in it, but it's amazingly fragrant and quite tasty.
Class is going pretty well this week, which is good after my Marching Moron moment last Wednesday. Confidence returneth, as does pain. I'm good with the forward rolls most of the time now as long as it's one where I can get my leading arm down, but the ones where you land on your shoulder first I still make a hash of.
The virus du jour is making my life annoying. Lots of people calling to bitch about "this mail you sent me!!1!", and when they're already cranky having to tell them "er, actually, you just virused yourself" really puts them in their happy place. No virus is full of joy for us, but the writer of this one gets an extra-special sulfuric acid bath if I ever catch the fucker.
