The perfect start to the day
Walk in the door, sit down, phone is ringing like mad because all connectivity has been fux0red for the past two hours. Yay. (For those who don't realize, in the nine o'clock hour, the only people in the office are me, the poor long-suffering accounting guy, and maybe a fellow from corp.)
We have a system status voicemail thingy. Pity none of the three of us knew the password. It's recorded...somewhere. Extra value-added iron: several people helpfully pointed out that the system status message still said everything's fine. I was nice to every one of them, thank you very much.
Everything's all better now, unless you count my jangling nerves.
This must be a Thursday.
