*thump chest*

I have cut the Gordian TWiki knot that has been plaguing me for months now. Fear my l33t skillz, yo.

Now I go to bar, for to drink girly drinks and plan for Pennsic.

Which TWiki know was that?

I manage a few TWikis on amoeba on a regular basis, perhaps I could have supplied a clue?

Oh, it wasn't to do with the basic install process (which I've done before), it was making it work with BSD jails and other entertainments.

One of my TWiki installations is having major authentication problems. We want it to authenticate off an external LDAP server (we use mod_ldap, so it shouldn't be hard, right? bwaaahahahaha).

Where does one find general twiki support? I can't find anything but the obnoxious twiki pages and I prefer a mailing list for this kind of thing. A clue, please?

I'm afraid I'm only aware of the "support" section of the twiki.org website. The impression I get is that there is much drinking of the kool-aid, so they use a TWiki to manage support for TWiki, and anything else would be Right Out.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

It turns out that twiki can be configured to trust the authentication that your web server does. Luckily our web auth is tied to our OpenDirectory (LDAP+Kerberos) system. Thus, we can now just tell people to use their standard username and password. In their profile we list how to transfer their username to their WikiName.
