I'm afraid I'm only aware of the "support" section of the twiki.org website. The impression I get is that there is much drinking of the kool-aid, so they use a TWiki to manage support for TWiki, and anything else would be Right Out.

It turns out that twiki can be configured to trust the authentication that your web server does. Luckily our web auth is tied to our OpenDirectory (LDAP+Kerberos) system. Thus, we can now just tell people to use their standard username and password. In their profile we list how to transfer their username to their WikiName.
