A case of the blue devils

serindeFour hundred kinds of moody this morning. Collected reasons include:
- forgot my checkbook AGAIN, to get a certified check, to mail off to pay my speeding ticket
- overslept
- ...and NJ Transit was fux0red
- no game tomorrow, because Steve's gone and Dr. Nick has an exam to study for (we never play if more than one person is out)
- didn't talk to pooky last night
- got up, looked at the dusting of snow, and realized I don't have any winter-weather shoon
- couldn't find my darn gloves either
- am worried about someone I don't know well, and am in a moral quandary re: whether I ought to take steps
- my weight is creeping up (I have not been keeping strict, but should have been keeping well enough to maintain through the holidays; it seems my metabolism gives almost no wiggle room, damn it to the depths of hell; but it's not even been a full week and I'm up two pounds, which is just ridiculous!)
And yes, I ate this morning, so this isn't just low blood sugar whining.
