This would have been a good day to stay in bed snuggled under a warm blankie. I'm tired to begin with, and it's pouring rain (surprisingly warm at the moment, but the temperature is supposed to drop, and I think I was unwise in my choice of jacket), and the office is pretty dead. Though the latter is a Good Thing, since we have yet another person who just switched to part time. Skeleton crew ain't in it.

Tonight I'm trysting with Beth to shop--she wants a Little Red Dress--and though I hope to find some top to go with my miniskirt, I predict disappointment. I really want a halter-ish midriff-baring thing (she said, smug in the realization that it's no longer a ludicrous vision for herself), and not only a) is that impossible to find if you have tits, b) it's probably the wrong time of year. But, nothing ventured, etc.

I want to get my toes done, but when the bloody hell am I going to have time?
