serindeIt was bad enough when Kiev was bought out, closed for a bit, and reopened with a hideous pink and shiny-brown-wood interior with the name changed (and clearly a global search & replace had been done on the menu, which meant "Chicken Kiev" was then "Chicken Whateverthefuckitwas"). The food was still the same. Then they sold it again and it was still hideous pink but at least it was Kiev again.
Now, I understand, it's been sold again...and "updated". Asian fusion and ginger creme brulee all over the menu. At KIEV! Because the city needed another goddam Asian fusion place, suffering a terrible deficiency in them as it is. King Missile did not write about having a dainty breakfast of lemony mushroom-and-leek pierogi, I do know that. Bring back my potato pierogi and blintzes and cranky Ukrainian waiters, you corpse-raping baby-killing bastards.

For those of you who have no idea what I'm screaming about, a rough equivalent is Hasbro's chief designer, after buying Avalon Hill, saying that any game worth playing should take less than an hour.
