Reactor temperatures normal, Captain.
Jun. 9th, 2004 01:42 pmIn spite of the fact that it's ninety degrees and somewhat humid (though not as bad as it often gets here), I survived class in exceedingly good order. Of course, it helped that what we were doing did not include the highest-exertion techniques, but it's not as if it was a class full of sitting around meditating, either. This could be a happy result of a) continuing fitness improvement, b) continuing weight loss, c) reverse psychosomatic wossname ("Gosh, it's kinda like Burning Man today, but NOT AS HOT!"), or d) all of the above. See me not complain.
Worked with Mike today, which I hadn't for awhile. We remain at about the same level, and we both think (and talk) a lot about how we're screwing up, which is probably Frowned On by traditionalists but it's very helpful for getting things right. Especially since Luis was subbing as teacher today, which event equates to lots of very interesting, unusual, and fun but often terribly confusing techniques. Suffice to say that if someone grabs the front of my shirt with one hand, I now have a variety of mind-boggling ways to 0wnz0r them. (All of which I'll probably forget in a couple days, but what the hell.)
