Hard pounding this, gentlemen
Oct. 20th, 2002 12:52 amBut we saw who could pound longer. Nice to know that my emotional stamina is still greater than a two-year-old (almost three) and an
eight-month-old. When Betsey got back, both of them were fed, medicated for respective illnesses, in bed and _asleep_. Go Me!
It helped (immensely) that Andrew was very cooperative and cheerful right up until bedtime, unlike the last babysitting experience when he would turn from happy toddler to demon screamer faster than my blood sugar drops; and by the time he was having bedtime Issues, Katy was already asleep, so I didn't have to juggle two fussers.
I still feel like I've been steamrollered, but it's a better class of steam roller. Or something.
Tomorrow: store, dinner, baking. Painting? Bike brakes?
