Back home, survived, could've been worse.

We spent four days at my mom's, and then drove up to Buffalo on Christmas Day. Note to self: really empty roads that day, by and large. Though part of that might have been the storm, too.

Then I got back to find that Focal has announced they're ending all DSL service as of Jan. 31. I'm in my happy place! LA LA LA!

Mood...swing.

General Discontent, Major Moody, and Staff Sergeant Out Of Sorts have been my attendants this evening; no idea why. I'm not actually bitchy, cranky, or grumpy--just reacting poorly to everything around me, and then disgusted with myself for reacting so...and I don't know how much is visible and how much is strictly in my head. It could be hormones (the red flag approacheth), tiredness (one good night's sleep in the past fifteen), or stress (shouldn't I freakin' well be used to that by now?), but whatever it is, I would like it to stop now.

Music is helping a little. Not quite enough.
