That wasn't so bad.
May. 7th, 2003 02:41 pmHadn't been to class for a week, but I neither sucked nor became horribly sore. (Not that I intend to make a habit of that dereliction!) In fact, I rolled correctly several times. Go Me.
We were doing throws that started with the throwee standing behind the thrower holding both wrists; it was new and different (to me, obviously). The methods were a bit complex but clicked in my brane--I got the basics down very quickly and had leisure to work on details of form. Was working with David today, who is--mirabile dictu--shorter than me, so I got to see what it's like for all the tall people trying to duck under _my_ arm. Heh. He was a bit gentler on me than was necessary, but that's okay, and he gave me huge tracts of good data.
