Look. A windmill.
May. 19th, 2003 04:14 pmI am embarked on another grandiose project which sounds really cool, in my typical cloud-castle sort of way, but is turning out hairier than I thought. Fortunately, I have
sweh to help me through the rough bits. Including the ones caused by my disorganized brain...
A good class today. I was working with Tony, as I have been a lot lately; he's at about my level (though I think he may have done work in another martial art), and good-humored. Occasionally silly, which sets off _my_ silly bits, which is not the best frame of mind for aikido...but I'm a lot more relaxed, because I don't feel like I'm holding back a superior partner, so at the same time I do better than I might otherwise.
I really wish my knees would stop hurting. They're fine during class, and for awhile after, but then ow again. Of course I was not good about taking glucosamine for the last while, so it might be my own fool fault.
