Slowly I padstitched, step by step

Went to Daria's for the sewing last night. The under-bodice fits now, and the lining of the gown is fitted and pinned. I think I'll still be up sewing the night before SR War Camp, though. I also have one more piece of gamurra bodice lining to padstitch. My God, does that go slowly, but it's necessary...

I aired some of my concerns about Wed. night's game to the DM, and he replied that it actually hadn't been a foregone conclusion until after one point. So, I'm confused as to what we did to trigger that event, or why it should make it so the elves don't talk to us, but I definitely feel better about the whole thing.

Steve's Call of Cthulhu preparations are spinning up. So far, among the character concepts on the table are: a hit man from Boston's Irish mob, an opium-addicted trombone player, a backwoods aviatrix, a pulp writer for an occult magazine, a couple of stage magicians/fake seance types (one of whom actually is psychic but doesn't know it), a Cockney pickpocket, and a teenager raised by a crazy old grandfather who's way too into the Mythos. I can't wait to see how this group is going to work together...

Had no time for breakfast, and I don't have any stocks of food at the office. Hmmm.
