Diet, take III.
May. 7th, 2004 12:13 pmI am now embarked on my third day of a radical diet plan called "eat fruit, veggies, whole grains, and lean meats". I know, I know--it's edgy. But it just might work. I'm using the extremely detailed FitDay to log all my intake, or at least as best I can; I defy anyone to come up with Official Nutrition Data for yoban, f'r instance.
These, my goals:
* keep between 1200 and 1500 kcal/day
* no more than 15% calorie intake from fat (this is proving a bit tricky)
* at least 65g of protein per day;
simonb recommended to me twice the RDA, but I'm not sure I can do that and keep within my calorie limits
* aikido at least thrice a week
* exercise bike (we found one from like 1960 in Steve's mom's house, and it still works fine; I am hoping he remembered to load it) for a half-hour every morning
The initial observation is that I am fucking starving most of the time. That probably means it's going to work, as long as my will holds out. And it shall.
