Like a zombie, I crave some.

This is directly attributable to the malign conjunction of planets which cause my sleep to be forcibly interrupted every single night for the past week. (Also, bad and freaky dreams relating to being conned into ordering sushi lunch specials that cost $1041.) If ever there was a time for our juice of joy, it is now, but it's STILL BACKORDERED $%@*!&%#)+++NO CARRIER

Another victory over the heinous lizard-brain

Claire had told me earlier in the week she couldn't make lunch today; and I had intended to try out the 1:30 weapons class of which rumors spoke. However, as the morning wore on, I was feeling less and less inclined to do so. My head was muzzy and confused. I was exhausted, which makes me clumsy. Aunt Flo's in town. Blah blah blah want to sit here and stare at the magic intarweb box.

About half an hour before shit-or-get-off-the-pot o'clock, I realized that these were, in fact, excuses, not well-reasoned and logical arguments. Furthermore, the real answer was that, for some reason, I was scared to go. Fortunately I have an ingrained reaction to that, which involves swearing nastily at myself and immediately doing whatever it is that Mr. Psyche is feeling wimpy about.

I had, needless to say, an absolutely wonderful class. It wasn't the kind of YEAH, BABY!! adrenaline rush I get when we unexpectedly do weapons techniques in an ordinary class; it was much more low key (which is good, considering the idea of several n00bs with heavy wooden swords running around like maniacs, myself included), and very relaxing, and challenging, and...I love it to bits. It's not anywhere near so aerobic as an ordinary class, either, though I know my shoulders and arms are going to be hurtin' puppies tomorrow. (It's a good pain!)

Must see if Claire is open to switching our lunch day officially.
