Today, the all-koshinage channel. Fell on head three times. Fell flat on back with a mighty WHUMPF! four times. Fell with the flats of my feet hitting first once (and isn't that an interesting, long-lasting tingly sensation). Plus assorted hard landings on shoulders, ass, etc.
The black belt I was working with today (Daniel, aka Tall Brazilian Guy) was very patient and helpful, though so very tall. That is, so very far to fall...I mean, he wasn't just dumping me down from 4' up, that's not how it works, but the leap of faith becomes exponentially greater for every inch of height.
