"Is there any tuna in here?"
Oct. 11th, 2005 09:28 amPicked up His Highness, Fussbudget I from the animal hospital last night. He got in the door, went over to the plate that had had bits of tuna dried on it since the day we dropped him off at the hospital, and licked and nibbled those to get every scrap he could.
And ignored the wet food I offered.
Which was the same stuff they were feeding him in hospital, that reportedly he was scoffing.
*headdesk*
When I got up this morning, I noted that he had et a bunch of kibble overnight...because it was barfed up under the table. (Sigh.) I fed him his appetite stimulant and then put down more wet food, which was a matter of supreme indifference to him. And he followed me around for the rest of the morning mewling piteously (I should note that he never talks unless he's unhappy about something) and double-checking everything I touched to see if it was tuna.
