Lunch in the muggy, warm sun at 'wichcraft in Bryant Park; walking back, encountering young men in dress suits with violently-red fake silk sashes pinned at the shoulder with golden lion pins handing out pamphlets, saying either "Protect the Da Vinci Code!" or "Reject the Da Vinci Code", we aren't sure which; polishing off the last of the chocolate ganache cake; and then watching with mellow amusement as the rain pours in through the spot in the window where the building workmen, who are verily the Polish Laurel & Hardy, failed to install the aircon properly for the third time running. Soon to proceed to the pub, and thence to have our eyeballs raped by Brett Ratner.
