Having never fitted anything more complicated than a T-tunic up to this date, (which is not as who should say "fitting" at all,) I have nevertheless just fitted a 1620s jerkin to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
elibalin with nothing to go on but the sketch in Patterns of Fashion, the picture in same of the original garment, and having watched Beth and Kasia and the rest of the crew fit stuff to each other (and to me).
And it, or at least the muslin pattern, looks right.
