serindeTrying to top my previous entries in the Bad Idea Sweepstakes, I dragged my sorry ass in to work in spite of a) (still) feeling like hammered shit and b) the X-TREEM low temperatures du jour (about 10 deg. F. with a narsty following wind). At least it's in a good cause, to wit, the Fabulous Chicks are going out for holiday drinks after work; we will consume silly pseudo-martinis and flirt with rich brokers and stuff.
However, kindly old Mother Nature tends to be quite skilled at driving home the point when you know you're doing something stupid. In this case, by refreshing my memory that, oh yes, in fact our office heating does usually break several times during the winter. LIKE TODAY.
