It is ass-freezing cold this morning. Therefore, using my amazing logic powers, I deduce a high probability that the office heating will be b0rken. I shall pack an extra layer.

And yet, the office was fine. The heating was not "b0rken." Your extra layer is - like religion - superfluous.
