serindeEye swollen mostly shut, lips puffy, face awful. Rash popping up on
neck and torso. (Zanfel does seem to be helping; the smaller rashes, hit with it, never start itching, and it relieves the one on my face for at least a time.) I seem to have gone systemic.
So, one calls the doctor to get happy steroids. My primary care physician (who is also Steve's doctor, and conveniently two blocks away) is on vacation...again. His backup doctor (phoned at about ten til four) gets voicemail--no one is in the office and one should call back after 9am tomorrow. Swell. I wish I had a job like that.
I also wish that, having taken the day of work, I could have used it to get something done instead of rolling around unhappily.
On the good side, Steve has apparently played the "my wife is really sick" card and, instead of being forced to stay until Friday night, is coming back tonight. Good. I want my pooky!!
