Gee, it's awfully dark outside...
Nov. 1st, 2002 09:03 amOh. When Steve said he was on top of setting the clocks back last weekend, he meant "except both alarm clocks in the sunroom". So that was me leaping out of bed at 5:30. mrflgh.
On the bright side, I made a cake and a cheese ball in the extra time. Go Me. That's less hassle for tonight. I was also in super-early--we didn't take the ferry, as the ticket line was around the block; all those suits getting their monthly passes--so I can leave early _and_ take some time at lunch to run errands.
I may fall asleep halfway through the party with my face in the punchbowl, but everything else will be in order.

Err?
Eh?
Oh!
Yes, thank you Steve. I wondered why it was so dark outside...
Well, I'm glad I fucked up a Sybase move on Tuesday so I worked 3 hours extra that day so despite being in 45 minutes late today, I don't feel so guilty about leaving 30 minutes early.
