One which is not, unfortunately, of direct use in aikido; to wit, how to tape up an injured bit for support (in this case, my wrist, which suffered an overenthusiastic kotegashi last week). Dr. Nick says I should have done it earlier, but usually that kind of ouch doesn't stick around for me, so I didn't consider it until this weekend when I thought "gosh, this really shouldn't still hurt".
Of course, my initial attempt resulted in my hand turning purple by the time we were halfway through warmups. There's a fine line between "tight enough to actually provide support" and "circulation is for pussies", I find.
Otherwise, a good class. Nothing particularly difficult, which is useful because now and again I still find bits of basics I'm screwing up on, and I had a nicely energetic workout. This is in spite of the fact that I also seem to have messed up my left leg. Again.
