The Chicks' Xmas outing was last night. I was feeling frumpish, as with my entire life in boxes I couldn't find what I wanted to wear, I haven't dealt with the extra 10 stress lbs. that grants me free range of everything else in my closet, couldn't find jewelry to match what I did wear, didn't have time or brain to apply even the minimal amount of makeup I incline towards for going out, couldn't wear my hair-butterfly as it's too heavy for my reduced amount of hair so it kept sliding free until I removed it in vast irritation, and my contact lenses are MIA so I was wearing my glasses. (I do love my glasses--the first time I've ever been able to say that--but.) And yet, the unsolicited consensus was that I looked like "the hot secretary gone Bad". I'm pretty okay with that.
