serindeSunday was the Big All-Day Gaming Session. Which I spent the entirety of puking, feeling like I wanted to puke, or recovering from just having puked. This is NOT conducive to good role-playing. For extra value-added delight, I was starving and thirsty, but everything I took (no matter how innocuous) exited within a few hours.
Yesterday my stomach re-opened cautious negotiations with the concept of food, but I had that wretched overwhelming exhaustion which meant even sitting at the computer was too tiring, so spent most of the day on the couch watching videos and cartoons, and getting very cheesed at a History Channel program which can be translated as "How the Americans Won D-Day In Spite Of Lazy Foreign Allies and Nasty Opposition On Omaha Beach". Bah. (They seemed to mostly be consulting Stephen Ambrose for the show--I wonder if this is one of his hobbyhorses? Haven't read any of his stuff.) But then Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade came on and wiped the taste out of my mind.
We have gone into ass-freezing-cold now. I was sort of wishing I'd worn my silk longjohns this morning.
