And after the morning's O PITY ME, I'm now all excited and interested because, in catching up on the Age of the Cotehardie mailing list, I find that one of the moderators wrote a paper on exactly the topics that were bugging me upon completion of Fashion in the Age of the Black Prince. Also, links to several other analyses, including Robin Netherton's remarks on the gothic fitted dress. This is very timely, too, since I am going to be fitting one next week; but mostly I'm joyed about having my questions answered, or at least discussed.
