My mom is the queen of 'over baked brownies'. When she has brownies that I make, she's always "why, these are so good..." to which I reply "I take them out five minutes before they should be done". Don't feel bad...when I do cook, I always have to set the timer on the stove, or I will 'set it and forget it'. Good thing I'm not in charge of cooking around here or we'd all starve.
Somehow I missed this one...sounds like an excuse to make trifle to me....make some syrup (with liqueur, of course), brush on dry brownies, crumble up, layer with creamy goodness...
