For the last ~6 months, my period has shortened from the ~26 days I've had since, oh, menarche to 22 or 23 days. Which has been hellaciously annoying and unfair, I don't mind telling you; but not as much as now being at day 26 and no sign of the crimson tide, other than my nipples being tender as hell for the last four days.

I hear what you're thinking at me and if that's true, you can call the Pope and tell him it happened again, considering the last gentleman-caller in my ladyparts was while my period was starting.

(I do know that stress can delay or even cause a skip, but I've been more stressed than this before and never had a miss, so CLEARLY that could NEVER HAPPEN to ME.)

It's probably just saving up to hit me on the plane, or in the middle of sweh's biopsy, or something. grump grump grump
