Our new dialtone provider can't figure out how to give our users the correct static IPs. Weeee!

Of course, you realize that the ILECs aren't going to do a damn thing about investing more money in high-speed infrastructure, even if Michael Powell just legislatively deep-throated each and every single ILEC executive.

It appears that saying "we want results" is too much for the FCC to actually ask of anyone.
