Avoidance behavior is not always bad. I moved all my SCA stuff back into the sewing room closet this evening, and discovered I have not one but _two_ chemises (I still think the plural of "chemise" should be "chemoose") that will do well with my gamurra. And then, while checking the weather for the Cape Cod area, I learned it's supposed to be rainy with a high around 60...so instead of frantically making an underskirt out of whatever random crap I have available, I'll just wear one of my wool skirts underneath.

So, I just have to hem the gamurra, and finish the eyelets. I could do the latter tonight, except that I don't have an awl or a reasonable facsimile thereof. Hmmm.
