serindeThe stars moved out of their malign configurations last night, or something. Suddenly I could accomplish everything I wanted to.
Both pairs of jeans I resurrected turned out to have holes in them, so I made a lightning raid on the clothing discount stores to find a pair to tide me over. Behold, I am now firmly, not just a 14, but a 14 in skinnier-than-thou brands like Liz Claiborne and Gloria Vanderbilt. Ha! (The real difficulty was finding non-hip-huggers, but I managed it.)
My 3.5 PHB arrived at the office a bit after 6pm (and Brian kindly called my cellphone to let me know). I was the first in the D&D group to get my hands on one. *smug* They have nerfed a few things that affect me, but considering how vastly better the new ranger class is, I'll count it as a win.

sweh and I went to Purple Passion, where we acquired a new collar for him along with sundry other toys, since so much stuff has ended up at my place (and it's a real damn nuisance to try and fit a crop in the purse, let alone pocket). Nice crop. I like it a lot. I don't know if he does... *purr* Also had an impulse buy, which was a leather bracer that's also a money belt, so to speak. Thus, you don't need to find some orifice to stash your wallet in when going out.
And Robot Wars and pad-stitching and a freaky South Park episode...and then two Oingo Boingo videos he'd managed to catch on VH1 Classic. *shiver happily* Note to all within the sound of my LJ: will trade life, soul, first-born children, or sexual favors for posters of Boingo, or better yet specifically of Danny Elfman looking beautifully wicked, and/or the tape I hear exists of all their videos.
Class was good today, too. I was tolerably competent and even able to help out the person I was working with. Go Me. Moreover, in the locker-room chitchat, we were talking about exercise in general, and someone noted that she could tell I'd lost a lot of weight since I first joined. Triple Word Score Go Me!
