Was channeling my inner boggan today, embarking on a whirlwind of cleaning and cooking. Especially cooking. Made breakfast, chicken pie, roast duck, taco meat, and was pondering baking something when they lured me out of the kitchen.

I'm now wibbling between writing up some character stuff for D&D, painting, or serious computer-game slackage. I'll probably end up sitting here dribbling at my telnet session.

"boggan"?

The closest word I know is "bogan", and I doubt it's the same thing at all -- it's rather, erm, pejorative.

I admit with some embarrassment that it's a White Wolf RPG thing. Their fifth effort, Changeling, involves creatures of faerie. Boggans are not unlike the brownies of Scottish legend.

Disclaimer: I only know this because b00jum ran a playtest LRPG of it at Lunacon some years ago.

Now I get to admit that, despite my Scots heritage and all, the only brownies I'm familiar with are the chewy chocolate variety. :)
