RAFM, who sells the "official" CoC minis, seem to be a bunch of know-nothing bozos, and I currently recommend against ordering from them (though they still have time to change my mind). I ordered a bunch on Jan. 16, got notice on Jan. 26th that they'd shipped on Jan. 23rd; so far so good. Except that they aren't here. I mailed back the address I got the notification on about Feb. 6th to ask WTF? No answer. Last week I mailed their customer service address on the web page to also ask WTF? It bounced, being forwarded to an over-quota Hotmail account (oh, now that gives your customers confidence). Finally phoned them today and they were all "oh. um. we'll look into it. maybe it's one of those 'got lost in the mail'." I await their callback, because if it's the latter, I greatly desire to see how they think they're going to rectify the problem. It better not be "pay us again and try again". I also intend to say a few pointed things about how return-receipt costs a few dimes per shipment.
Contrast this with Bob Murch (the original sculptor of those minis), who sells his own stuff now; he mailed me on the same day to say he was going to be away for a month, and did I want to cancel the order or just leave it on hold? And then when he got back, he only then charged my card...which was of course right after I'd lost my wallet...and mailed me on a weekend evening to say "er, this bounced, do you want to call your CC company or try PayPal or what?" I PayPal'd him that night, and he is shipping them today. Or probably actually tomorrow, as I bet he forgot the post office isn't open today. But anyways, superior in all respects.
