They're so close together, after all.
Mar. 1st, 2004 04:37 pmDoesn't take long at all to go from happy, cheerful pookie to curmudgeonly pookie. About that many shit-brained users, in fact. The current winnah and new champeen is the guy (not even one of our users, I may add) who sent whinging, condescending email because he got an unknown-user bounce for mail he didn't send (virus forged him, I guess) and we should shut off those notices, as it's "very simple to do in postfix". Go away, you stupid little man, and read a few RFCs while en route.
He certainly wasn't the only one, just the most recent. There was a mailing list issue, milder, but of that long drawn-out flavor; a similar piquant bouquet of cluelessness with an overlay of claiming to know what they were talking about. One of our corp customers got infected with a spamware virus and I had to clean up the mail about it. Our prize aDSL idiot has been caught with his hand in the P2P copyright infringement cookie jar for the third time.
I'd probably cope better if I wasn't so dang tired.
