A boring work afternoon whiled away by means of an indepth, in-character IM discussion with another member of the D&D group.

Ah, the classic, humble love triangle. (Or as one of the other participants put it, a love-V, because the two males are not at all interested in each other; for the absence of which vision we are all grateful.) Poor Drea, in true teenage fashion, is still totally gone on the guy who evinces no interest whatsoever (and it'd probably end badly if he did--those vaguely spooky wizards never come to good ends). Meanwhile she's completely oblivious to the fact that her sympathy and understanding are making the stoic fighter with the dark past fall in love with her. Boy, I really am recreating my high school existence.

Our original plans for making this bubbling cauldron of emotional chaos runneth over were scuppered by the DM, who threw us immediately into another adventure--we thought there were going to be a few weeks of downtime at home. Not too many interpersonal issues get covered when you're concentrating to stay alive, etc. So we're fitting it in where we can. Still, I don't know when Drea will get to Confess Her Feelings (not much of a confession, as with a 20 Int he damn well knows what's going on; so call it a Demand An Answer), because again this is not the kind of discussion you have in a dungeon, FFS.
