Someone "representing 15 million clients" just emailed a bunch of our support addresses looking for a "reputable source of information on yeast infections on the Web". Oh, and don't email him back, please call.

I restrained my desire to make a snide comment about properly-configured web servers not being prone to yeast infections, or even about how someone responsible for the health of 15 million yeast-infected people can't even manage a fucking search engine. But I was snarky. I feel better now, even though my IM woes are unalleviated.

I since heard that this was going to all kinds of weird addresses, so likely it's either some kind of spam or some kind of nasty prank. (Though if it's spam, I can't imagine what the gain was; it didn't advertise anything in any way, and it seems like a damn troublesome way of confirming addresses.)
