FSVO "useful"

I went downstairs to actually accomplish something today (clean, garden, file the enormous stack of paid bills that I haven't filed in about six months; my options were legion) but instead we had Part I of the "So, do we intend to have kids or not?" discussion. Well, and this is something that needed doing, too. (For those keeping score: no decision yet--the topic will be revisited after further researches and discussions with other people whom it will have an impact upon.)
